I really enjoyed the hotel overall. Had very nice stay of five nights. The accommodation had a central location very near from the bus terminal. Moreover, it's next to Kappa Bridge as well as all the walking trails and highlights. A great selection of food for breakfast, which was EXCEPTIONAL to satisfy everyone.

Particularly nice views, loved amazing and magnificent setting.
We got room with Japanese decor and a clean bathroom to relax. Location: the hotel was so close to valley, Kappabashi bridge and hikes. Kamikochi district was worth staying in.

The food was lovely. Drinks were good. They upgraded me to a reasonably spacious room with an EXCELLENT view of the mountains. The location for Matsumoto was great, adjacent to the valley and mountain hikes in that area.

Title: Majestic mountains, delightful baths, and a touch of nature.
Oh, the outdated room decor was simply marvelous, and having to walk a few steps to the toilets? Such an inconvenience, but who needs ensuite when there's a stunning view of the river?

Featuring stunning views of the Hodaka Mountains and Azusa River, the lodge provides a breathtaking backdrop for your stay. With an elevation of 1,500 meters above sea level, this charming mountain village lodge is surrounded by beautiful nature. As I soaked in the Japanese-style mineral baths, my aches and pains melted away, leaving me feeling completely rejuvenated. The sound of the Azusa River flowing nearby added a soothing touch, transporting me to a state of tranquility. The wide range of amenities in the spacious baths, including showers, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.

I was amazed at the incredible hospitality I received at this mountain lodge. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even helped us navigate a cancelled train and confirm our mountain hut reservation. The onsen was lovely and the meals were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a welcoming and stress-free stay.
